I Wish I Were …

by Holly Harris

Are you old enough to remember this jingle?  Weiner Mobile - 1st View

” Oh… I WISH I were an Oscar Mayer

wiener …

That is what I’d TRULY like to be …

‘Cuz if I were an Oscar Mayer wiener,

Everyone would be in love with me!”

Funny how some things are ROOTED in our consciousness …

And silly as they are, we don’t forget them…

Driving down the interstate in California last week, I saw the Wiener Mobile out on it’s

humanitarian mission …

The GOOD MOOD Mission …Oscar Mayer Good Mood Mission

Even if you don’t believe that hot dogs

are a fine example of healthy nutrition,

I challenge you not to smile when you see

the Wiener Mobile!

And considering the use of this icon …

And how it might relate

back to my chosen career path of

attraction-based internet marketing

I thought what a brilliant marketing strategy to drive around the country …

… Especially at a time when so many people are feeling anxious and gloomy…

In a super-sized hot dog with matching bun …

Simply to put a smile on the faces of passersby …

If you don’t laugh at loud you at least have to grin since it is so DARN SILLY!

Parent company Kraft is on a mission to provide food to hungry families by donation …

And this was their chosen method to get the word out …

With a highly recognized iconic symbol …

This strategy won’t be effective for everyone, but for certain people, Kraft will definitely hit the mark – through the funny bone!

Of course they will also be creating enormous visibility for themselves at the same time …

As well as start conversations …

So I will leave you with one last photo …

And a suggestion that you ask yourself a simple question…

How are you delivering your targeted message to your audience?

In fact, are you even pursuing a career path that is bringing you

I Wish I Weresatisfaction, expanding your horizons and

putting a SMILE on your face as you

creatively express your unique self?

NO?

We need to talk!

Then instead of I WISH I WERE,  you can

say SO GLAD I AM!
